CCAAC Submission to Standing Committee on Finance
Our submission to the House of Commons Standing Committee on Finance’s study on income equality emphasizes “the importance of early childhood education and care (ECEC) in addressing Canada’s growing ‘equality gap’.”
Our response elaborates on how a high-quality and affordable national system of ECEC services would reduce poverty, increase women’s participation in the workforce and better enable families with young children to obtain economic equality.
