Let’s make it clear: Canada can’t have gender equality or economic growth without child care
The Government of Canada is asking for your input as it drafts the 2018 federal budget. You can call for spending on high quality, affordable, accessible child care by completing the on-line 2018 Pre-Budget Consultation Surveys. The government is asking for advice on working towards: Progress for the middle class, Gender Equality, Lifelong Learning and the Economy of tomorrow. Each survey allows spending on child care to be entered as an option. All you have to do is check the “other” box (Option D) – and write in that you believe child care is important.
